So, for anyone following, it took a while to sell our house. When it did sell, it went to a cash buyer, who wanted to close in 13 days! After working one last week, we packed like crazy, and got out of the house, and tossed our essentials into the trailer, and traveled straight to Las Vegas to see family. Before beginning such a long Journey, we had to deal with pet sitters, and mail boxes, quick car repairs, etc... It was nice to visit my family, and we were able to stay at the new Clark County Shooters Park. It was a nice place, full hookups, and the view was great. It unfortunately rained most of the days we were there, but it was fine since we have lived in Las Vegas most of our lives, and weren't really there as part of our adventure. It allowed us to get to know the trailer a bit, and begin the process of settling into the space. Several trips to Walmart later, we felt we had a much better handle on what we had and needed, but the rest of my family may disagree. ;)
Hopefully the rest of our trip will be a little more planned and structured.
